Conversation between Joël Person and Agnès Callu

Published on May 26, 2021

As an extension of the two exhibitions currently on view by Joël Person, Déferlante and Bruits du Monde, Loo & Lou Gallery is pleased to invite you on Friday, June 11th from 6 to 7 pm to a conversation that will be on Instagram live (@looandlou) between the historian and art historian (PhD/HDR) Agnès Callu (IIAC, EHESS/CNRS) and Joël Person on the topic

The Chamade, or The Perspectives of the Line

On this occasion, they will discuss the power of drawing strokes which, articulated in the manner of dynamic rhizomes, produce a drawing on the spot. The latter captures, in the shifted poetry of reality, a horse race with a classicising movimento at the same time as it cavalcades in a tempo as feverish as it is contemporary.
